PRIVACY POLICY FOR TATTO, INC.

Last updated May 23, 2008

1. Introduction

Tatto, Inc., also known as Tatto Media ("Tatto") provides targeted marketing technology and services to websites and online marketers. Tatto collects consumer information and targets advertisements on the websites or groups of websites of its clients. This Privacy Policy describes how we use and collect consumer data in providing those services.

2. Data Collection and Usage

  • Personal Information

Personal information is data about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, but does not include the specific “IP” or Internet protocol address of your computer, which is used to identify all computers accessing the Internet.

Tatto may collect, host and manage the personal information that our website partners have chosen to collect from their sites. This data is the property of our website partners and is subject to their respective privacy policies. Tatto may not use this data in any way that is not authorized and requested by the websites from whose sites the data originated.

  • Non-Personal Information

When you visit a website that uses Tatto’s technology or services, Tatto collects certain non-personal information from you, using cookies and other technological measures, as explained below. We collect information about your browsing behavior, including the name of the domain and host for your Internet access, your computer's Internet address, browser software and operating system, the Internet address you left before reaching us, the date and time you visit the websites, user interface settings, the type of content that you visit, the ads on pages you visited, and other click-stream data. We also may use single-pixel GIFs, also known as clear GIFs, web beacons, pixel tags or action tags.

  • Cookies

We use "cookies" and other technological mechanisms to collect information. Cookies are small packets of data stored on your computer. The site placing the packet on your computer then can recognize the computer when you revisit the site. Cookies are used to provide services such as auto log on and relevant ad delivery, and to better understand how you are interacting with the site. These cookies effectively enable sites to better customize the site to your needs and interests, so that it can be as valuable to you as possible.

You may set your browser to warn you that cookies are in use, or to block the use of cookies. Most browsers are set to accept cookies. If yours is not, certain uses of a website may require you to go to your browser user preferences to enable cookies. (Each browser is different, so check the ''Help'' menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.) If you change computers, operating systems or browsers, or use multiple computers or browsers, you will need to repeat this process for each computer and each browser.

  • Registration Data

Some of the websites collect additional information about you through registration, for activities such as access to premium content, entering sweepstakes, or fulfilling offers such as newsletter subscriptions. This information may include personal information such as your address or phone number, age, gender and zip code. To refine the targeting of ads that are most appropriate for you, Tatto may access the information that may have been collected in a registration environment.

  • Customer Information

Prospective customers (websites and online marketers) can go to the www.TattoMedia.com site and provide their contact information to find out more and to be contacted by a Tatto representative. Tatto may use that information for business purposes such as marketing and research.

  • Temporary Use and Disbursement of Non-Personal Information

In order to serve ads effectively and efficiently, Tatto may assemble non-personal, demographic, behavioral and technical information to create aggregated data collections. These aggregated data collections contain data that has been aggregated into large anonymous groupings. After the ad or ads have been served, only aggregate segment level data is retained by Tatto.

Tatto does not provide any personal information to marketers when you interact with or view a targeted ad.

To make certain that ads served by Tatto are targeted correctly, partner websites in the network place Tatto data tags on their sites. These tags are not personally identifiable nor do they collect personal information. They are used to match visitor browsing behavior to a segment profile designated for targeting ads to visitors.

3. Security

Tatto takes reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access to and unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. Our security measures include physical, electronic and administrative procedures.
